Friends and Family
My Master Class teacher, and wonderful mentor. There aren't words enough to describe her generosity. She teaches a wide variety of classes all over. Go to her website and hope she's teaching near you.
Carole introduced me to NanC. Her shop's in Newbury Park, CA. Her shop has the best classes in the area. If she doesn't have the bead or supply you're looking for, you don't need it.
This is my artist guild, made up of people from my Master Class. Check this web site for our upcoming exhibits, plus to see what all my cohorts are up to.
Kandra's the best! She understands beaders and what they want. Her shop on the web has a wide selection, great prices and prompt service.
Liz does it all, from off-loom work to bead stringing to loom work. If you get a chance to take a class from her, jump at it.
Melanie bends wire like no one else, ever. Take any class that she teaches. You will not regret it. Plus her wire necklaces are too beautiful for words.
I took a class with Betsy in Chicago. She taught me how to widen how I see and use beads. I cannot recommend her classes enough.
Joni taught me to weave. Not an easy task. She widened my understanding of weaving; it's not all plaid. She taught at Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, in Oregon. She is a versitile artist and a very good teacher.
